Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive with good knowledge of the medical devices and consumables industry. The candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable vendors, sourcing products at competitive prices, conducting market research, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement as per business requirements.

The ideal candidate should understand medical products, have strong communication and negotiation skills, be comfortable visiting vendors, and be committed to meeting deadlines while working closely with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product Sourcing & Procurement

- Source medical devices, hospital equipment, laboratory products, rehabilitation products, and medical consumables from reliable manufacturers and suppliers.
- Identify new vendors and develop long-term supplier relationships.
- Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Vendor Management

- Visit manufacturers and vendors whenever required.
- Conduct supplier evaluations based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and reliability.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with vendors across India.




- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.

Market Research

- Research new medical products, technologies, and market trends.
- Identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor competitor pricing and product availability.
- Prepare product comparison reports for management.

Coordination & Follow-up

- Follow up on procurement leads assigned by the management and procurement team.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Track purchase orders from enquiry to delivery.
- Resolve procurement-related issues proactively.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain procurement records, quotations, supplier databases, and purchase documentation.
- Prepare procurement reports and supplier performance reports.
- Ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of medical devices, hospital equipment, and medical consumables.
- Strong market research and product sourcing capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships with vendors.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.




- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in medical procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.
- Experience working with medical equipment manufacturers or healthcare suppliers will be an added advantage.
