Role & responsibilities

- Develop, review, maintain, and audit PFMEA and Control Plans.
- Ensure identified risks and special characteristics are effectively controlled.
- Own quality performance across assembly, in-process inspection, and final testing.
- Drive FPY, Right-First-Time (RFT), RTY, and reduction of internal defects.
- Monitor Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) parameters and ensure effective p
- Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, A3, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and other quality methodologies.
- Ensure quality of MV circuit breakers, vacuum interrupters, and associated switchgear modules.
- Oversee relevant electrical and mechanical testing, including:
- Dielectric/Hi-pot testing

- Primary injection
- Contact resistance/micro-ohm testing
- Mechanical checks and torque verification




- Contact timing and functional testing
- Ensure compliance with applicable IEC/IS standards, including relevant IEC 62271 series requirements.
- Exposure to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 will be an advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of IEC 62271 / IEC 62271-100
- Experience with Type and Routine Tests
- Knowledge of metrology and calibration systems
- Experience with ECN/ECO, DFM/A, and change management
- LPA and customer audit experience
- Knowledge of electrical safety and LOTO practices
