About the Role

We are looking for a highly accomplished Senior Principal Engineer – iOS to lead the architecture, design, and development of next-generation mobile experiences for millions of users. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who has successfully built and scaled consumer-facing products from 0 to 1 , navigated complex engineering challenges, and driven technical excellence in high-growth environments.

You will play a critical role in defining the mobile technology vision, influencing product strategy, mentoring senior engineers, and delivering highly scalable, reliable, and performant iOS applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of large-scale iOS applications.
- Drive the technical vision and roadmap for iOS platforms, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Build products from concept to launch, including defining architecture, development practices, and engineering standards.
- Solve complex technical challenges related to scale, performance, reliability, security, and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, Data, and Business teams to deliver impactful customer experiences.
- Establish best practices around software design, code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and release management.
- Lead technical reviews, architectural discussions, and critical decision-making processes.
- Mentor senior engineers and help build a strong engineering culture focused on innovation and execution excellence.
- Drive adoption of modern iOS technologies and continuously improve engineering productivity.
- Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders through technical leadership and strategic thinking.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.




- 11–15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 8+ years focused on iOS application development.
- Proven experience building and launching products from 0 to 1 in a rapid-paced environment.
- Solid background in consumer internet ( B2C ) products serving large user bases.
- Deep expertise in Swift , iOS SDK, UIKit, and modern iOS development frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, Modular Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
- Experience designing systems that handle scale, high availability, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of networking, concurrency, memory management, offline-first architectures, and application security.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and release management.
- Proven ability to influence engineering direction across teams and organizations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling mobile products to millions of users.
- Exposure to SwiftUI and modern Apple ecosystem technologies.
- Experience with experimentation platforms, personalization, analytics, and growth-focused product development.
- Track record of driving major platform migrations or architectural transformations.
- Experience working in high-growth startups or rapidly scaling technology companies.
- Contributions to open-source projects, engineering blogs, patents, or technical conferences are a plus.
