Role - Principal - Business Consulting

Practice Enterprise AI & Data , India

Location – Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad

We are looking for experienced management consultants with excellent business acumen to join our agile, fast-growing AI consulting practice, with a solid focus on Manufacturing (Discrete,

Process, Industrial) transformations powered by intelligent technologies. Pure-play technology consultants need not apply. We encourage professionals willing to work from office or client location at least 3 days a week. We prefer immediate joiners who can join within 30 days.

About the team

Enterprise AI & Data (EA&D;) practice is one of the horizontals of Infosys Consulting and is responsible for:

Selling and delivering end-to-end AI, Data and Analytics transformation services across various geographies

Driving value realization for enterprise AI programs, leveraging our proven frameworks and platforms to ensure measurable business outcomes

Bringing together business consulting, data science and engineering capabilities to design, build and scale AI-led transformation programs for global clients

Enabling the industrialization of AI, GenAI and Agentic AI solutions, embedding them into core Manufacturing business processes (e.g., production, supply chain,

procurement, quality, maintenance, asset management) and ensuring adoption at scale

As a horizontal, we work across industries, with this role specifically aligned to Manufacturing,

collaborating closely with industry verticals and broader Infosys teams.

The EA&D; practice plays a critical role in helping clients transition from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption, delivering both strategic advisory and execution at scale. The team is rapidly growing (100+ members) and focused on building a differentiated, market-leading capability in enterprise AI transformation.

If you join us, some of your responsibilities are





You will primarily be responsible for working in a client engagement and helping the practice and

IC leadership in responding to RFPs, building PoVs or offerings and coaching a team of 2-6

consultants. This role requires both individual contribution and managerial, leadership responsibilities.

75-80% of the time you will be working on a client engagement

20-25% of the time will be on anchoring/driving RFP response, proactive pitches, meeting clients, building PoVs/offerings, coaching team members To be successful in this role, you must have the following

1. Self-motivated, collaborative and strong team player
2. Strong structured problem-solving and storytelling skills; ability to generate data-driven

insights and executive narratives
1. Willingness to travel (India/global) and work from office at least 3 days per week
2. 10+ years of business consulting or advisory experience, with proven delivery of strategy and

transformation engagements in AI, Automation, and Data
- Working knowledge of Generative AI, Conversational AI, Responsible AI and Agentic

AI is highly desirable
1. Strong understanding of Manufacturing industry value chain (e.g., production, planning, supply

chain, procurement, quality, plant operations) and at least one functional domain
1. Experience in program management, product management, and stakeholder engagement,

with a track record of managing large-scale transformation programs
1. Familiarity with PMO structures, governance frameworks, and delivery assurance

mechanisms
1. Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into AI/Data-driven solutions, including

defining AI roadmaps, identifying high-value use cases, building business cases, and driving adoption of enterprise AI platforms (including GenAI and Agentic AI)
1. Experience in bridging business and technical teams to operationalize AI solutions and drive

measurable business outcomes in Manufacturing
