Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and provide competitive freight quotations for import and export shipments. Obtain and compare freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and transport vendors. Maintain and regularly update ocean freight, air freight, and local charges.
Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely quotations. Negotiate rates with carriers, co-loaders, overseas agents, and other service providers. Analyze market rates and competitor pricing to maintain competitive quotations.
Calculate complete shipment costs, including freight, origin/destination charges, customs-related charges, transportation, documentation, and other applicable fees.
