Role Description The Pouching Technician is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for operating and monitoring pouch-making and related finishing equipment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines according to job specifications, feeding and handling materials, ensuring proper sealing and cutting, and performing basic adjustments to maintain quality standards. The technician inspects finished pouches for defects, measures and records output, and follows safety, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.

The role also involves coordinating with production supervisors and quality teams, documenting production data,



and supporting continuous improvement in efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

- Experience operating packaging, pouching, or converting machinery, with the ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Knowledge of flexible packaging materials and processes, including handling of films, laminates, and sealing parameters.
- Attention to detail and quality control skills, including visual inspection, measurement, and adherence to specifications and standards.
- Basic technical and safety skills, such as following SOPs, using hand tools, and complying with workplace safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Ability to read job orders, record production data, and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Prior experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai in a fast-paced production setting and to learn digital packaging technologies.
- Minimum educational qualification typically at high school or vocational level; technical diploma or certification in packaging or mechanical trades is an advantage.
