Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Chennai. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and maintain PLC programs for industrial automation systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation of equipment and processes. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and programming PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, testing and debugging control logic, and supporting commissioning activities at customer sites.

The role involves collaborating with design, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement automation solutions, troubleshoot control issues, and optimize system performance. The PLC Programmer will also prepare technical documentation,



adhere to safety and quality standards, and provide ongoing support and updates for installed systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in PLC programming and configuration, preferably with experience in multiple PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or similar).
- Candidates should possess skills in HMI and SCADA development, including screen design, alarm configuration, data logging, and real-time monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in industrial automation and control systems, including VFDs, servo drives, control panels, sensors, actuators, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess skills in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting automation systems, including on-site support, system diagnostics, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, P&IDs;, and technical documentation, with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and customers, along with solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
