- Operate and monitor ETP equipment and ensure smooth plant operations.

- Monitor water quality parameters and maintain required treatment standards.

- Perform chemical dosing and process adjustments.

- Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance activities.

- Maintain operational records and chemical consumption reports.

- Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms and environmental regulations.

- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with the maintenance team.

- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards in the plant area.

Key Responsibilities

ETP Operations

- Operate pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, and chemical dosing systems.

- Monitor plant parameters and ensure proper functioning of treatment equipment.

- Adjust treatment processes based on operating conditions.

- Ensure continuous and effective operation of the ETP.

Water Quality Monitoring

- Monitor pH, TDS, BOD, COD, TSS, and flow rates.

- Collect water samples as per operational requirements.

- Coordinate with laboratories for water quality testing.





- Take corrective action when parameters are outside required limits.

Chemical Dosing

- Perform chemical dosing according to treatment requirements.

- Monitor chemical consumption and maintain appropriate dosing levels.

- Record daily chemical usage and process adjustments.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Conduct routine inspections of ETP equipment.

- Perform minor maintenance activities when required.

- Identify equipment or process-related issues.

- Coordinate with the maintenance team during breakdowns and repairs.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain daily log sheets and plant operation records.

- Maintain chemical consumption reports.

- Ensure operations comply with Pollution Control Board norms and environmental regulations.

- Maintain required records for inspections and compliance.

Safety & Housekeeping

- Follow plant safety procedures and environmental guidelines.

- Maintain good housekeeping in the ETP area.

- Use appropriate PPE while handling chemicals and operating equipment.

- Report safety hazards, equipment faults, and operational abnormalities immediately.
