About SVECTOR

SVECTOR builds intelligence infrastructure for institutions that cannot afford shallow, untraceable or poorly governed decisions. Models, vendors and techniques will change; SVECTOR must continue to own the workflow, evidence, access controls, data structures, audit trail and outcome continuity that remain valuable after those changes.

We are looking for a Platform Architect who can take an important product outcome from incomplete direction to a working system, with a transparent technical plan, reliable deployment and visible operational ownership.

The Role

- You will write and review code across frontend, backend, data and AI-assisted workflows, taking features from requirement to deployment instead of stopping at prototypes or partial modules.
- You should be comfortable converting founder and product direction into a defined outcome, architecture, sequence of work, dependencies and release path, rather than waiting for detailed instructions.

What You Will Own

- Production software across frontend, backend, data and AI-assisted workflows.
- Complete product flows, from how users enter to how services communicate to what happens when any step fails.
- Technical translation of founder and product direction into architecture, sequence of work and release path.
- Practical architecture including module boundaries, APIs, data models and permissions that can survive growth.
- Evidence-grounded AI including retrieval, structured outputs, model orchestration and human-review workflows.
- Platform reliability including environments, secrets, access control, monitoring, backups and incident response.




- Release quality by testing complete workflows, reproducing failures and comparing output against requirements.
- Technical guidance by reviewing the work of engineers, interns and contractors.

Who We Are Looking For

- We are looking for a strong engineer who wants ownership beyond a ticket queue and is willing to stay hands-on.
- Your previous title matters less than your ability to operate.
- You should have strong fundamentals across frontend frameworks like React or Next.js, backend technologies like Node.js or Python, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud deployment and CI/CD, and working experience with LLM APIs, retrieval and structured outputs.
- You do not need to know every tool on day one. You do need the honesty to separate production experience from experimentation, and the judgment to ask for help before a risky decision.

What This Role Is Not
- This is not a ceremonial architecture title.
- It is also not a project manager role that only updates trackers and asks other people for status.
- You will not be a detached architect who produces diagrams but does not build, debug, test or deploy.
- We are looking for someone who can stay close to the code, understand the complete product flow, guide other builders and remain accountable until the system works reliably in production.
