Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare and update valve datasheets, valve lists, equipment lists, and piping engineering documents.
- Review valve and special-item technical documents received from vendors.
- Review vendor datasheets, GA drawings, material details, pressure ratings, testing requirements, and deviations.
- Support technical evaluation of valves and special piping items.




- Coordinate with vendors and internal disciplines to resolve technical comments and queries.
- Support preparation/review of MR, TBE and purchase specifications.
- Ensure documents comply with project specifications, P&IDs;, PMS, and applicable codes and standards.

Required Experience & Skills

- Positive knowledge of piping engineering and valve selection/specification.
- Familiarity with ASME, API, MSS, ASTM and ISO standards related to piping and valves.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs;, PFDs, line lists, equipment datasheets and PMS.
- Experience with vendor document review and technical coordination.
- Good understanding of valve materials, pressure classes, trims, end connections, testing, packing, and gasket requirements.
- Knowledge of PMS and material selection will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting.
