Role Description The Physiotherapist at APRC will provide hands-on assessment and treatment for patients in the clinic, focusing on geriatric care, stroke and neurological rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and musculoskeletal conditions such as spine and joint pain. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed physiotherapy evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, and monitoring progress using standardized protocols.





The role involves educating patients and caregivers on home-based exercises, fall prevention, lifestyle modifications, and long-term rehabilitation goals, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with the wider clinical team to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care and adherence to APRC’s clinical SOPs and safety standards. This is a full-time, in office role based in Coimbatore.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification in Physiotherapy (BPT required; MPT in orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, or related specialty preferred).
- Licensure/registration as required by local regulatory bodies, with adherence to ethical, evidence-based clinical practice.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric conditions.
- Experience with therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation program design.
- Ability to follow standardized assessment protocols, clinical SOPs, and outcome measurement tools.
- Effective communication and counseling skills to work with patients, families, and caregivers in a compassionate, inclusive manner.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment with a focus on patient safety and quality of care.
