Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our team of dedicated medical professionals. The Physician Assistant will work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role involves clinical evaluation, diagnostics, minor procedures, documentation, and ongoing patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in the examination and treatment of patients.
- Take comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as per physician instructions.
- Support in pre- and post-operative care and patient education.
- Document medical findings and treatment plans in EMR systems accurately.
- Perform minor procedures as permitted under hospital protocol.
- Coordinate with nursing and allied health staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist during emergency care or critical situations as required.
- Participate in ward rounds and assist with discharge summaries and patient instructions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant medical council or authority.
- Minimum [X] years of clinical experience preferred (recent graduates may also apply depending on department needs).
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
