About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Software to join our dynamic development team in Bangalore. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced PHP developer who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and efficient applications.

The Senior

Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex PHP-based systems, ensuring they adhere to best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, product management, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business success.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Proficiency in SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and triggers,



is essential. Candidates should have demonstrated experience working on large-scale or data-intensive applications, along with excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

A solid understanding of API integration and server-side deployment processes is required.

Preferred qualifications include experience with version control systems like Git, familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and a proven track record of performance optimization in complex systems.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications in accordance with internal coding standards and best practices.
- Implement modular, reusable, and maintainable code utilizing strong object-oriented programming principles.
- Develop and optimize server-side logic, including database operations, stored procedures, and triggers to enhance system performance.
- Design and refine SQL Server queries, indexes, and database structures to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks across UI, database, and API layers, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture guidelines, and security protocols throughout the development lifecycle.




- Collaborate with QA teams during testing phases, participate in code reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Take ownership of tasks from requirement analysis through to deployment and post-production support, ensuring timely delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into the development process.
