We are currently hiring for a Lead Performance Tester / Senior Test Engineer / QA Lead position based in Chennai, with a Work from Office requirement.

Experience: 8+ Years

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the performance testing strategy for banking and payment applications.
- Define performance testing objectives, workload models, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze business requirements to determine expected transaction volumes, TPS, concurrency, and response-time requirements.
- Design and execute load, stress, spike, endurance/soak, and scalability testing.
- Develop realistic performance scenarios for end-to-end payment transaction flows.
- Conduct performance testing of payment APIs, backend services, middleware, and integration layers.
- Validate payment systems under normal, peak, and exceptional transaction loads.
- Analyze system behavior, response times, throughput, TPS, resource utilization, and error rates.
- Identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, API, middleware,



and infrastructure layers.
- Collaborate with Development, Architecture, DevOps, DBA, and Infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
- Analyze application/API logs, database metrics, and transaction traces.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of performance degradation and production bottlenecks.
- Prepare performance test reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Define performance baselines and compare results across releases.
- Lead performance defect triage and ensure timely resolution.
- Support NPCI/AANI integration, certification, and production-readiness testing, where applicable.
