Role Description The Performance Test Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance test strategies for complex travel technology platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining performance test scenarios, configuring test environments, running load, stress, and scalability tests, and analyzing results to identify bottlenecks and risks.

The Performance Test

Lead collaborates closely with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to recommend performance improvements and ensure that systems meet non-functional requirements. The role also involves preparing detailed test reports, tracking performance metrics over releases, mentoring team members,



and contributing to continuous optimization of performance testing frameworks and tools.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Performance Testing and Performance Management skills, including experience with load, stress, and endurance testing tools and methodologies.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret performance metrics, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to present complex performance findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) and monitoring solutions (e.g., APM tools, log analytics) is highly beneficial.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, databases, and networking concepts relevant to performance and scalability.
- Experience leading test teams or initiatives, including test planning, prioritization, and coordination across cross-functional groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages, and automation frameworks to integrate performance testing into build and release processes.
