Job Title: Jr. US Payroll Associate
Location: Remote (US shift-timings)
Department: Customer Success
Work Experience Required : 1 - 4 years in US Payroll
Role & Responsibilities:
● Assist in onboarding new US payroll clients by supporting the migration process or setting up payroll from scratch.
● Support accurate payroll processing on a weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly schedule, depending on client requirements.
● Help identify and resolve payroll discrepancies under supervision and document resolutions accurately.
● Support management of employee benefits like health plans and 401(k) contributions.
● Answer basic queries about taxes, pay stubs, W-2s, and forms (W-4/W-9).
● Maintain and enhance internal knowledge repositories, onboarding resources,
standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support documentation to ensure process consistency.
● Analyze client feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and share actionable insights to strengthen payroll delivery, onboarding effectiveness, and the overall customer experience.
Requirements:
● B.com graduates with overall 85% throughout their academic qualification.
●Minimum 2-4 years of experience in US payroll processing, HRIS, onboarding/offboarding, and support.
● CPA Certification required (Added as advantage).
● Basic understanding of MS Excel or payroll software is a plus.
● Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a willingness to learn.
● Effective written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
