- Perform wall, kerb stone, structural, gate, fencing, and barricade painting activities.

- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, scraping, and primer application.

- Apply appropriate paints and protective coatings as per specifications.

- Ensure smooth, uniform, durable, and high-quality finishes.

- Maintain proper safety standards while handling paints, thinners, and chemicals.

- Coordinate with supervisors for daily work allocation and report defects or damages.

Key Responsibilities

Wall Painting

- Inspect walls for cracks, dampness, and peeling paint.

- Clean and sand surfaces before painting.

- Apply primer and required paint coats such as emulsion or enamel.

- Ensure smooth finish and uniform coverage.

Kerb Stone Painting

- Clean kerb stones and remove dust, mud, and old paint.

- Apply base coats and reflective paint as required.

- Ensure proper alignment and visibility for safety purposes.

Structural Painting

- Inspect steel and metal structures for rust or damage.

- Clean and prepare surfaces for painting.

- Apply anti-corrosive primer and finishing coats.

- Ensure durability and proper appearance.

Gate Painting

- Clean and sand wooden or metal gates.

- Apply primer and protective coatings.

- Apply suitable weather-resistant paint.

Fencing Painting

- Inspect fencing for rust, cracks, or damage.





- Clean and prepare surfaces.

- Apply primer and paint to ensure protection and uniform finish.

Barricades Painting

- Clean barricades thoroughly before painting.

- Apply reflective or safety paint as per required standards.

- Ensure proper visibility and durability in outdoor conditions.

Site Preparation &

- Safety

- Barricade work areas and place appropriate warning signs.

- Use required PPE, including gloves, masks, and helmets.

- Handle paints, thinners, and chemicals safely.

- Prevent spills and protect surrounding areas from paint damage.

Material &

- Equipment Handling

- Check the quality of paints, primers, brushes, and other materials before use.

- Store painting materials properly to prevent contamination.

- Maintain brushes, rollers, tools, and equipment in positive working condition.

Coordination &

- Reporting

- Coordinate with supervisors regarding daily painting assignments.

- Report damages, defects, rust, cracks, or other unusual findings immediately.

- Maintain records of painting work and preventive maintenance activities.

Helpdesk Closure

- Log all painting requests through the helpdesk system.

- Track each request until the work is completed.

- Close helpdesk tickets after completion and verification with proper remarks and status.

- Record preventive maintenance activities in the helpdesk system for accountability.
