Role Description The Outreach Intern will support SNNEH Foundation’s community-based programs by assisting with planning and implementing outreach activities in Delhi, India. This on-site internship role involves engaging with community members, partner organizations, and beneficiaries to share information about SNNEH’s programs, collect feedback, and strengthen participation. Day-to-day tasks include conducting basic field research,



supporting awareness campaigns and events, documenting outreach interactions, and helping prepare easy reports and communication materials.

The intern will collaborate with program staff to coordinate visits, maintain records of community engagement, and identify opportunities to expand SNNEH’s reach. This role is suitable for individuals interested in social impact, grassroots work, and learning how community-driven initiatives are designed and implemented.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to interact with diverse community members and prepare clear documentation.
- Candidates should possess Community Outreach and Customer Service skills to engage respectfully with stakeholders and respond to inquiries and needs.
- Candidates should possess Research skills to support data collection, basic analysis, and reporting on outreach activities.
- Interest in social work, community development, public health, psychology, education, or related fields; current students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, with cultural sensitivity, empathy, and respect for people from varied backgrounds.
- Organizational skills, reliability in completing tasks, and willingness to learn from field experiences and mentorship.
- Proficiency in English and local languages (such as Hindi) is highly beneficial.
