Role: Order Fulfillment & Operations Coordinator
Studio Covers is a premium D2C home furnishings brand. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment & Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and streamlined backend operations. You will play a key role in the day-to-day execution of customer orders — from the moment they’re placed on our Shopify store to the moment they reach the customer’s doorstep.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Management: Monitor incoming orders from Shopify. Create and maintain daily order sheets. Flag urgent orders and ensure they’re prioritized.
- Ready Inventory Management: You will be required to ensure that the ready inventory is always up to date so that no orders get stuck.
- Logistics Coordination: Book shipments across multiple logistics dashboards (Blue Dart, DTDC, Delhivery, etc.). Ensure labels are booked accurately, tracking numbers are updated, and orders are monitored until delivery.
- Tracking & Follow-ups: Track each order until delivery. Proactively resolve any delivery issues and follow up with shipping partners when needed. Coordinate with customers as and when needed.
- Made-to-Order Coordination: Maintain a production tracker for made-to-order items.
Prepare daily/weekly to-do lists and coordinate with the production team to ensure timely dispatch.
- Quality Checks: Ensure products are quality-checked before dispatch and that packaging is completed per brand standards.
- Inventory Sync: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure ready-to-ship stock is clearly marked and updated regularly.
- Escalations: Highlight potential issues — delayed deliveries, incorrect addresses, returns/RTOs — to the appropriate team (Customer Service, Production, etc.) promptly.
What We’re Looking For
- A well-organized individual with solid follow-through and time management
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Comfort using shipping and logistics dashboards
- Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken and written)
- Ability to take ownership of responsibilities with minimal oversight
- Prior experience in logistics coordination, order fulfillment, or backend operations is preferred, though not mandatory
