About The Job:
Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and support mission-critical production databases. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database 19c, Autonomous Database, OCI, Multitenant, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and performance tuning.
Essential Job Functions:
- Bachelors degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
- Strong production support experience with Oracle 19c.
- Hands-on Autonomous Database + OCI experience is mandatory.
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications:
- Administer and monitor Oracle Database 19c production environments.
- Manage Oracle Multitenant Architecture CDB/PDB.
- Administer Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW) on OCI.
- Configure and support Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and OEM.
- Perform database installation, patching, upgrades, migration, cloning and refreshes.
- Perform backup/recovery and performance tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM and SQL Tuning.
- Manage database security, users, roles, privileges and auditing.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and perform RCA.
- Automate DBA activities using Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL and Python.
