Optician / Optical Sales Executive

About Us

Suseela Netralaya is a leading superspeciality eye hospital offering comprehensive eye care services including Cataract Surgery, LASIK & Refractive Surgery, Cornea, Retina, Glaucoma, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Low Vision Services, and Optical Solutions. We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Optician to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist patients in selecting suitable spectacle frames, lenses, sunglasses, and optical accessories.
- Interpret ophthalmic prescriptions accurately and recommend appropriate lens options.
- Educate patients regarding lens types, coatings, progressive lenses, blue-light protection, and other optical products.
- Take precise frame measurements including PD, fitting height, and frame adjustments.
- Coordinate spectacle orders with lens laboratories and vendors.
- Perform frame fitting, repairs, adjustments, and after-sales service.
- Maintain optical inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Achieve monthly sales targets while maintaining high patient satisfaction.
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of optical products.
- Handle billing, documentation,



and order tracking.
- Collaborate with doctors and clinical staff to provide seamless patient care.

Requirements
- Diploma / Certification in Optometry, Opticianry, or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an optical store or eye hospital.
- Good knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and optical dispensing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with progressive and premium lens dispensing.
- Knowledge of inventory management and optical billing software.
- Sales-oriented approach with patient-centric service.
