Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to manage and oversee logistics operations across multiple locations in India. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, coordinating with clients, vendors and internal teams, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor day-to-day logistics operations across different locations in India.
- Coordinate with branch teams, warehouse teams, transporters, vendors and clients.
- Ensure timely movement, delivery and collection of goods.
- Monitor operational performance and resolve issues on time.
- Conduct regular visits to branches, warehouses, client locations and operational sites.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Track operational costs and support cost-control initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate with drivers, field staff and other operational personnel.
- Prepare and submit regular operational reports to management.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Support the opening, setup and management of new operational locations when required.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and service standards.
- Travel frequently across India as required for business operations.
Requirements
- Graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
- 5 TO 8 years of relevant experience in logistics/transportation/operations.
- Solid knowledge of logistics and field operations.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and basic reporting tools.
