About us
Crashfree India (a CARS24 commitment, run under Vision Zero Trust) is a not-for-profit working to make India's roads safer and to help road-crash victims and their families receive the support and compensation they are entitled to. We work closely with government, and we use technology to make hard, paper-heavy processes simple for ordinary people.
About the role
This is a hands-on, implementation-heavy field role, in partnership with the government of Rajasthan.
In plain terms: you will work shoulder to shoulder with police officers and other government staff, train them to use a new technology solution in their daily work, and make sure it is actually adopted and used correctly on the ground, case after case, until it becomes routine. You will be based out of the Transport Department office in Jaipur, and travel across the city to keep the different agencies coordinated. This role is for someone who loves getting a new system to actually work, not just designing or discussing it.
What you will do
● Train officers, hand to hand. Sit with police officers and other government staff, one on one and in groups, and train them to use a new technology solution confidently in their daily work.
● Drive real adoption on the ground. Follow up relentlessly so that the new system is actually used, and used correctly, case after case, until it becomes routine. This is the heart of the role.
● Be the on-ground face of the program. Work out of the Transport Department office in Jaipur as your base, and be the person the officers and offices know and rely on.
● Coordinate across agencies. Travel across Jaipur to keep the police,
the Transport Department and other offices aligned and moving together, so nothing falls through the gaps.
● Support the people we serve. Guide citizens and families patiently through the process, and follow their case through to a good outcome.
● Close the loop with the build team. Capture what confuses or breaks in real use on the ground, and feed it back clearly so the solution keeps improving.
● Track and report. Keep clean records, watch adoption closely, and share crisp, regular updates with the team.
Who you are
● Good on the ground. Comfortable with operations, field program execution, government or stakeholder liaison, consulting, or similar hands-on work. You have made things happen in the real world, not just from a desk.
● Proficient in both Hindi and English, spoken and written. You can write a explicit, correct note and hold a room equally well in either language. This is essential.
● A natural relationship-builder. Comfortable with senior government officials and everyday citizens alike; you build trust quickly and navigate systems patiently.
● AI-native and tech-comfortable. You use digital and AI tools fluently in daily work and pick up new software quickly. You do not need to code, and no software development is involved.
● An owner, not a task-taker. A self-starter who takes responsibility for outcomes, thrives with autonomy, and stays steady amid ambiguity in a young, fast-moving setup.
● Empathetic and persistent, especially with people in difficult situations.
● Based in Jaipur or willing to relocate, and ready to be out in the field: this role travels across Jaipur most days to coordinate between offices and agencies.
