Role Purpose

Responsible for end-to-end formulation development of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) products for the Domestic Market, including product development, optimization, scale-up, technology transfer, and preparation/review of technical documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

The role will involve leading formulation development activities for tablets, capsules, and other OSD platforms from laboratory development through commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

Formulation Development

- Lead formulation development activities for immediate-release, modified-release,



and other OSD products for the domestic market.
- Develop robust and scalable formulations based on API physicochemical properties, target product profile, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform pre-formulation studies including API characterization, excipient compatibility, solubility, flow, compressibility, and other relevant studies.
- Select suitable excipients, manufacturing processes, and formulation approaches.
- Develop and optimize formulations using QbD principles, risk assessment, DoE, and design space concepts where applicable.
- Evaluate critical material attributes (CMAs) and critical process parameters (CPPs) impacting product quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing-related issues during development and scale-up.
