Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Odoo Functional Consultant with 2–5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding client business requirements, implementing Odoo ERP solutions, configuring modules, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. The role requires strong functional expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage client interactions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze client business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions, GAP analysis, and business process mapping.
- Configure and implement standard Odoo modules based on business needs.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and workflow documentation.
- Coordinate with the development team for customizations and enhancements.
- Perform functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate developed features.
- Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
- Assist in data migration, system configuration, and ERP deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project implementation.
- Stay updated with the latest Odoo features and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in Odoo ERP Functional Consulting.
- Robust understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo modules such as:
- Sales
- CRM
- Purchase
- Inventory
- Accounting
- Manufacturing (MRP)
- HR & Payroll
- Project Management
- Excellent requirement gathering and client communication skills.
- Experience in preparing functional documentation.
- Ability to conduct UAT and user training sessions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts is an added advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Odoo Functional Certification or ERP implementation experience will be an added advantage.
