Description

The Role: To manage the end-to-end development of new cosmetic, personal care, and dermatological products from concept to commercialization by coordinating with R&D;, Production, Purchase, Packaging, Quality, Regulatory, and Sales teams while ensuring timely product launches and market competitiveness. Key Responsibilities: Lead new product development projects from concept, formulation, and packaging selection to commercial launch Conduct market research to identify recent product opportunities, ingredients, packaging trends, and competitor products Coordinate with clients, marketing, and sales teams to understand product requirements and market needs Work closely with R&D; for formulation development, product trials, and stability studies Coordinate with Packaging Development teams for selection of suitable containers, labels, cartons, and product presentation Manage product costing activities in coordination with Purchase and Commercial teams Identify and source new raw materials, active ingredients, and packaging materials for product development Coordinate pilot batches, scale-up activities,



and technology transfer to production Ensure timely completion of product development milestones and launch timelines Prepare product specifications, development reports, technical documents, and product dossiers Coordinate with QA/QC and Regulatory teams for approvals and compliance requirements Track product performance during initial production and resolve launch-related issues Maintain a pipeline of innovative product concepts and improvement opportunities Support customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions when required.

Qualifications &

Skills: B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field 2–5 years of experience in NPD, R&D;, Product Development, or Cosmetic Formulation Knowledge of cosmetic, personal care, skincare, haircare, and dermatological products

Understanding of formulation development, stability testing, and scale-up processes Knowledge of packaging materials and product presentation concepts Understanding of GMP, ISO, and regulatory requirements

Strong project management and coordination skills Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation systems.
