Job ObjectiveTo guide design of dies, fixtures, tools etc. as per specifications provided by the Plant Head

Primary ResponsibilitiesFinancial Ensure adherence to approved departmental budgetCustomer Support production teams by timely development and provision of die designs for manufacture by Tool Room

¢ Resolve queries raised by Tool Manufacturing Team regarding die design & specifications

¢ Provide insights for analyzing die breakdowns along to support Die Maintenance Team in productive resolution of breakdownsProcess¢ Guide team in design of dies, tools, fixtures etc. as per specifications provided by the Central Design Team in Ludhiana

¢ Identify opportunities for introducing improvements in die designs; lead coordination with Central Design Team for approval on simulations etc.

¢ Review 2D & 3D drawings prepared by team members, provide technical expertise for development and ensure corrections in case of issues

¢ Monitor CNC programming on CAM conducted by Programmers and implement modifications in programs aimed at reducing machining hours

¢ Monitor spares planning and consumption and ensure adequate inventory

¢ Manage trials of new/ modified dies in line with defined quality standards

- Coordinate for approvals and handover to Tool Manufacturing

¢ Ensure systematic maintenance of all die designs, modifications, approvals etc. as per TS requirements, including PLM uploads and other software requirements

¢ Adhere to all statutory requirements in the tool room operations and compliance of all regulatory requirements and standards like ISO, OHSAS, 6 Sigma and TPM

¢ Participate in cross functional improvement initiatives, as indicated by superiors (such as Quality circles, Kaizens, TPM etc.)Learning &

- Development¢ Ensure timely completion of all stages of Performance Appraisal Process

¢ Provide necessary leadership and guidance to employees to improve their performance

¢ Identify training needs of the subordinates, nominate them for appropriate training and developmental programs





¢ Take up grievances of subordinates that reach through proper channels and takes appropriate action accordingly in consultation with Head of Tool Room

Job ObjectiveTo conduct design of dies, fixtures, tools etc. as per specifications provided by the Central Design Team





Primary ResponsibilitiesFinancial¢ Ensure adherence to approved departmental budgetCustomer¢ Prepare and provide designs for manufacture in a timely manner

¢ Support Design Head in addressing queries raised by Tool Manufacturing Team regarding die design & specificationsProcess¢ Conduct 2D and 3D modeling and detailed design of dies, tools, fixtures etc. as per specifications provided by the Central Design Team in Ludhiana

¢ Support Design Head in conducting improvements in designs as per requirements of user departments, to reduce cycle time and improve productivity

¢ Coordinate with Central Design Team for approvals on simulations conducted at Haridwar

¢ Coordinate for conduct of trials of new/ modified dies, tools, fixtures etc. and requisite approvals from Quality, Plant Head etc.

¢ Upload all approved designs on PLM Software and update the same as per requirement

¢ Maintain hard copy documentation of all designs, records, approvals etc. as per TS, OHSAS and other statutory requirements

¢ Participate in cross functional improvement initiatives, as indicated by superiors (such as Quality circles, Kaizens, TPM etc.)Learning &
