Role & responsibilities

- Minimum of 9 years of experience in firewall management and network security.

- Solid understanding of firewall concepts, including NAT, zones, and security policies.

- Experience with enterprise firewalls, preferably Palo Alto, and a solid grasp of routing interactions with firewalls.

- Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, with a mandatory understanding of switching technologies like STP, MLAG, and VLANs.

- In-depth knowledge of datacenter networking concepts and WAN architecture, including SpineLeaf configurations.

- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex network issues and excellent documentation skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate with vendors for seamless network operations.

Preferred candidate profile

- Conduct L3-level troubleshooting of firewall issues, including traffic drops, NAT complications, and asymmetric routing.





- Design, optimize, and review firewall policies to enhance network security and efficiency.

- Implement NAT, routing, and zone-based policies to ensure seamless network operations.

- Validate security posture and support audits to maintain compliance with industry standards.

- Provide PCR and CAB support for firewall changes, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

- Perform root cause analysis for security and network incidents, developing prevention strategies.

- Support firewall upgrades, migrations, and redesign projects, collaborating with OEMs like Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point.

- Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for network transformation and migration projects, ensuring successful implementation.
