Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer L3 with strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking, routing, switching, and wireless technologies. The role is heavily inclined toward network design, operations, optimization, and troubleshooting, with minimal involvement in security/firewalls. This position will act as an escalation point for complex network issues and support large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks
- L3/L4 troubleshooting of complex routing and switching issues
- Work extensively with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing
- Configure and manage Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching (VLANs, STP, RSTP, MST, HSRP/VRRP)
- Handle network performance optimization, capacity planning, and upgrades
- Provide escalation support to L1/L2 teams and mentor junior engineers
- Manage wireless networks (controllerbased and standalone APs)
- Participate in network design discussions and architecture reviews
- Perform network documentation, diagram updates, and SOP creation
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for circuits and hardware issues

Technical Skills (Core Focus)

Networking (Primary)

- Robust fundamentals in TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting




- Hands-on expertise in Routing & Switching
- Experience with enterprise network devices (Cisco preferred; Aruba/Juniper exposure a plus)
- WAN technologies: MPLS, Internet Leased Line, SDWAN (basic understanding)
- Wireless technologies: 802.11 standards, RF fundamentals, controllers
- Network monitoring & troubleshooting tools (SNMP, Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.)

Security (Limited Scope)
- Basic understanding of firewalls (rule changes, NAT, troubleshooting connectivity issues)
- Exposure to network security concepts such as ACLs and segmentation
- Not a securityheavy role; no deep SOC or advanced firewall design expected

Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles
- Experience working in large enterprise or service provider environments
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and root-cause analysis skills
- Relevant certifications are a plus:
- CCNP (Routing & Switching / Enterprise) – Preferred

- Wireless certifications (optional)
