– Murex MxML Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Murex MxML Developer to join our team and support end to end implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Murex workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across MxML Exchange, integration workflows, data transformation, and hands-on configuration within Murex.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MxML Exchange workflows including outbound, inbound, and transformation logic.
- Configure and enhance STP processes, validation rules, enrichment logic, and exception handling within Murex.
- Work closely with business and technology teams to implement trade workflows, confirmations, settlements, and reporting interfaces.
- Support integration of Murex with upstream/downstream systems using XML, XSLT, messaging queues, and APIs.
- Troubleshoot workflow issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long term fixes.
- Participate in release cycles, technical documentation, and production support when required.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.




- 5–10 years of experience working with the Murex platform, with robust focus on MxML Exchange.
- Solid understanding of XML/XSLT, messaging structures, transformation logic, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Java or Shell/Python scripting for integration or automation tasks (minimal usage).
- Familiarity with SDLC practices, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), version control tools (Git/Bitbucket).
- Working knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift (only at a basic competency level relevant for deployment environments).
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and deliver solutions in a fast paced environment.

- Exposure to Murex modules: Front Office, Back Office, Accounting, and Risk.
- Experience with API-based integration and microservices built in Java/Spring Boot (for consuming or connecting only).
- Understanding of capital markets products across FX, Rates, Equities, Credit, or Commodities.
