Role Summary

We are seeking a Murex Datamart Support Engineer with 2+ years of experience in supporting Murex MX.3 Datamart and Reporting environments. The candidate will assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Datamart reporting processes while ensuring accurate delivery of Risk, P&L;, Market Valuation, Accounting, and Regulatory reports.

The ideal candidate should possess working knowledge of Murex Datamart architecture, SQL, reporting processes, and Capital Markets products.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Murex Datamart and reporting environments.
- Monitor EOD batches, feeders, extractions, and reporting processes.
- Investigate report failures, batch issues, and data discrepancies.
- Assist in troubleshooting performance and reporting issues.
- Validate and reconcile reporting data.
- Support business users in resolving reporting-related issues.




- Execute and monitor processing scripts, feeders, and scanner templates.
- Participate in release, migration, and deployment activities.
- Maintain support documentation and operational procedures.
- Work with Risk, Finance, Operations, and Infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Murex support environments.
- Basic knowledge of Murex Datamart and Reporting modules.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
- Understanding of Capital Markets products.
- Positive troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Python scripting.
- Knowledge of Control-M scheduling.
- Familiarity with Jira or ServiceNow.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Exposure to Murex upgrade activities.
