Job Role:MS SQL DBA SME
Location:Bengaluru(only)
Experience: 8- 12 Years
:
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server installations and patching
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server database tuning
- knowledge of SQL Server database backup and recovery strategies.
- SQL Server replication,
mirroring, log shipping, maintenance plans and DR recovery strategies
- Knowledge of SQL Server tools
- Installation, Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server Instances.
- Create Users and assign permissions based on the level of database access the user would need
- Design database Backup and Restoration Strategy
- Setup High-Availability as part Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases
- Monitoring and Performance Tuning; Physical Server Level, Database level (Database settings and options) and query tuning.
- Documenting major changes to the SQL Servers.
- Apply Service Packs.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
