POSITION OVERVIEW The portfolio lead motor underwriting will be responsible for monitoring growth and profitability of Motor line of business, actively managing portfolio performance, and driving strategic initiatives to increase market share.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitor growth and profitability of Motor line of business.
- To execute central level strategies and Conduct competition benchmarking for growth and profitability
- Deep mine opportunities and strategize as per central guidelines
- Actively manage portfolio by sharing insights and taking decisions to weed out non-preferred business.
- Devise Tech based solutions and work towards recent generation products.
- Analyze and manage channel-wise and overall P&L; for Motor line of business.




- Formulate strategies to increase market share.
- Share various reports with senior management on portfolio performance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 8-12 years in General Insurance with exposure to Motor portfolio/underwriting management.
- Strong understanding of P&L; management and strategic planning.

PREFERRED SKILLS

- Data Analytics • Communication skills • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint • Working knowledge of R/Python/SAS • Understanding of Actuarial Science
