Role Description The Motion Designer will work full time in a remote capacity, creating high-quality motion graphics and animation that support narrative-driven visual stories for a variety of brands and technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and animating sequences, developing and refining storyboards, and collaborating with creative directors, producers, and other designers to translate concepts into compelling motion pieces. The role involves contributing to video production pipelines, preparing assets, and ensuring smooth handoff to editors and post-production teams.

Designer will also participate in creative ideation, maintain consistency with brand guidelines, and provide input on how best to use motion, timing, and visual language to enhance storytelling.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Motion Design and Motion Graphics, with a portfolio demonstrating narrative-driven visual work.
- Experience in Animation, including 2D or 3D techniques, and the ability to bring characters, products, and abstract concepts to life.
- Proficiency in Storyboarding and visual concept development to plan sequences and communicate ideas effectively.
- Background in Video Production workflows, including asset preparation and collaboration with editors and post-production teams.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, Premiere Pro or similar).
- Strong sense of timing, composition, typography, and visual storytelling, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with brand, product, or technology-focused projects is beneficial; familiarity with robotics, mobility, or FMCG sectors is a plus.
