Role & responsibilities
1.Proficiency in CAD Software
1. Design and develop tooling solutions including:
Jigs and Fixtures, Progressive Dies, Press Tools, Injection Molds, Special Purpose Tooling. 3.Create detaile DFM for RFQ as well for customer approval.
4.Knowledge of plastic injection mould design principles including parting lines, gating systems, runner design, cooling channels, and ejection mechanisms.
5.Understanding of plastic material properties, shrinkage factors, and moulding process parameters.
6.Knowledge of mould manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, EDM, wire cutting, grinding, and polishing.
7.Experience with mould flow simulation tools such as Autodesk Moldflow or Moldex 3D for analyzing filling, cooling, and warpage.
8.Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software Siemens NX,Autocad.
9.Perform tooling feasibility studies and manufacturability analysis.
10.Develop tool concepts based on customer specifications and production requirements.
11.Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T; implementation.
12.Review product designs and provide tooling recommendations.
13.Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Production, and Product Engineering teams.
14.Support tool trials, validation, and process optimization activities.
15.Troubleshoot tooling-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
16.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
17.Manage tooling documentation, revision control, and engineering change requests.
