Role Description The Molding Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajkot. The person in this role will oversee daily molding operations, including planning, organizing, and monitoring production activities to meet quality, safety, and delivery targets.

Responsibilities include supervising molding teams on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to process parameters, coordinating with maintenance and quality departments, and resolving production issues promptly.

The Molding

Supervisor will track production metrics, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and support training and skill development for team members. The role also involves maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and IATF 16949 requirements, and collaborating with management to optimize resource utilization.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of molding processes, cast iron and ductile iron casting, and foundry operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in production planning, shift supervision, and team management on the shop floor.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control practices, process inspection, and adherence to IATF 16949 or similar standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in safety awareness, housekeeping, and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic data analysis, reporting, and use of production documentation and ERP or similar systems.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Prior experience as a supervisor in a foundry or heavy manufacturing setting is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential.
