Hiring: Microsoft Defender Security Analyst

Location: Akurdi, Pune

Experience: 3+ Years

We are looking for a Microsoft Defender Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity operations team and support a large-scale Microsoft Defender setting with over 5,500 endpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and investigate Microsoft Defender alerts and security incidents

Perform security alert triage and malware remediation activities

Manage endpoint security policies and security baselines

Support vulnerability management and remediation coordination

Conduct threat investigations and root cause analysis (RCA)

Coordinate with internal and external security teams

Support audits, compliance activities, and governance reviews

Drive Secure Score and overall security posture improvements





Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in Cyber Security / SOC Operations

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)

Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR

Incident Response and Threat Investigation experience

Malware Analysis and Endpoint Security Administration

Vulnerability Management and Security Compliance understanding

Familiarity with Security Incident Management processes

Preferred Skills

KQL Querying

Microsoft Sentinel exposure

Threat Hunting experience

Security Governance and Reporting
