Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MFCS / Java Integration Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle Merchandise Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS), particularly Stock Ledger, WAC (Weighted Average Cost), month-end processing, weekend jobs, Merchandising APIs, and POM (Periodic/Process Operations Management).

The ideal candidate should also have valuable hands-on knowledge of Java and Kafka, along with exposure to AI/Agentic Development, preferably using technologies such as Claude and AWS AI services.

Key Responsibilities

- Work extensively on MFCS base functionality,



including Stock Ledger and WAC calculations.
- Support and troubleshoot month-end and weekend processing/jobs in MFCS.
- Work with MFCS Merchandising APIs and related integrations.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot POM jobs and batch processes.
- Analyze production issues and provide timely technical resolution.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support MFCS enhancements and integrations.
- Develop and maintain integration components using Java.
- Work with Apache Kafka for event-driven integrations and messaging.
- Participate in application performance tuning, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to automation and modernization initiatives using AI/Agentic Development approaches.
- Explore and leverage Claude, AWS, and related AI capabilities for development and operational automation.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle MFCS.
- Good understanding of Stock Ledger and WAC.
- Experience with Month-End processing and Weekend jobs.
- Robust knowledge of Merchandising APIs.
- Experience with POM / batch processing.
- Good understanding of MFCS base jobs and core processes.
- Production support and troubleshooting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE.
- Experience developing and supporting REST APIs and integrations.
- Good understanding of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and integration troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Generative AI / Agentic AI development.
- Experience or familiarity with Claude / Anthropic.
- Exposure to AWS AI/ML services and cloud technologies.
- Understanding of AI agents, LLM-based applications, or AI-assisted automation is a plus.
