- About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Home Textile Merchandiser to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing orders from product development and sampling through production, quality control and final shipment , ensuring timely execution as per buyer requirements.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Handle buyer communication and order execution from enquiry to shipment.
- Coordinate product development, costing, sampling and approvals.
- Prepare and maintain order sheets, T&A;, production follow-ups and shipment plans .
- Coordinate with design, sourcing, production, QC, packaging and logistics teams.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, packaging and other raw materials.
- Monitor production progress and ensure orders meet quality, quantity and delivery timelines .
- Check and communicate buyer specifications, measurements, artwork, packaging and labeling requirements.
- Coordinate sample development and obtain timely buyer approvals.
- Identify production delays/issues and proactively communicate solutions.
- Maintain accurate order documentation and buyer records.
- Coordinate with QC regarding inspections, defects,



corrective actions and buyer comments.
- Coordinate final shipment documentation and ensure orders are shipped as per buyer requirements.
- Handle buyer queries and provide regular order status updates.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Textile, Apparel, Fashion, Merchandising, Business or a related field.
- Candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. in Textile Technology will be preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Home Textile Merchandising .
- Experience with bedsheets, duvet covers/sets, pillowcases, quilts, comforters or other home textile products is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, GSM, measurements, stitching, finishing, printing/dyeing and packaging .
- Good knowledge of sampling, costing, production planning and export order execution .
- Good command of MS Excel, MS Office and email communication .
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong coordination, negotiation, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and work effectively under strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience dealing with international buyers / retailers / importers .
- Knowledge of export documentation and shipping processes .
- Understanding of buyer-specific quality and packaging requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned orders.
- Willingness to coordinate closely with factory, suppliers and buyers.
