Position: MEP Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible MEP Engineer to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works at our construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP installations are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works at the project site.
- Review and interpret MEP drawings, layouts, specifications and technical documents.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural and structural teams to avoid clashes and delays.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of MEP works.
- Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications and applicable standards.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship used for MEP installations.
- Coordinate material requirements, inspections and approvals with the purchase and project teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure MEP activities are completed within the scheduled timeline.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical issues, discrepancies and clashes.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
- Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection reports, measurements and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors,



contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards at the project site.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP installations.
- Verify quantities and measurements of MEP works for billing and certification.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, estimates and material requirements when required.
- Ensure proper maintenance of as-built drawings and MEP documentation.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates regarding MEP progress, issues and requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in MEP works in residential, commercial or high-rise building projects.
- Good knowledge of MEP drawings, specifications and construction practices.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting and other building services will be an advantage.
- Ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants and project teams.
- Valuable communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant MEP software is preferred.

Experience 39 years of relevant experience in building construction / MEP projects preferred.
