Role DescriptionPosition: Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanical Technician

Job Location: Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Work Mode: On-Site The Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicles and their mechanical systems.

The selected candidate will perform routine and preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical faults, repair or replace defective components, and ensure that vehicles are maintained in safe and reliable operating condition.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and vehicle performance issues.
- Repair and replace defective mechanical components and parts.
- Perform maintenance of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and related vehicle systems.
- Conduct testing after repairs to ensure proper vehicle operation.
- Identify potential mechanical problems before they result in major breakdowns.
- Use appropriate workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and replaced parts.
- Follow company safety procedures and workshop quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment,



and the work area in proper condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other workshop team members as required.
- Assist with installation, testing, adjustment, and calibration of mechanical components when required.

QualificationsCandidates should have one of the following or an equivalent qualification:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Automotive Technology, or
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering, or
- ITI / Vocational / Technical Certification in Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Automobile Mechanic, or a similar engineering trade, or
- Any other recognized mechanical or automotive engineering certification relevant to vehicle maintenance and repair.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical repair.
- Good understanding of preventive and scheduled maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Knowledge of engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and other vehicle mechanical systems.
- Ability to use mechanical tools and workshop equipment safely.
- Ability to understand technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and specifications.
- Strong attention to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a technical team.
- Practical hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance will be an advantage.
