Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate to begin a career in Piping Engineering and Design. The GET will support piping layouts, engineering documentation, drawing preparation, and multidisciplinary coordination under senior guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and modification of piping layouts and drawings.
- Support piping isometrics, GA drawings, and related deliverables.
- Read P&IDs;, equipment layouts, piping specifications, and engineering inputs.
- Assist senior engineers/designers in routing and piping design activities.
- Support MTO/BOM, line lists, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Incorporate review comments and maintain updated drawings.
- Follow project standards, codes, quality requirements, and deadlines.
Requirements
- Strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of piping components, valves, fittings, supports, and equipment connections.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and P&IDs.;
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn piping design software.
