Role Description

This is a full-time in office role for a Mechanical Engineer based in Coimbatore.

The Mechanical

Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and products.

Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing machine designs, employing computer-aided design (CAD) software, conducting research and development activities, ensuring quality standards, and managing projects from concept to completion.



The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify technical solutions and continually optimize product performance.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and a strong foundation in principles and applications of mechanics and materials.
- Expertise in Machine Design and the ability to create innovative and efficient mechanical solutions.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and modeling mechanical components.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) to innovate and enhance product offerings.
- Strong Project Management skills to oversee and deliver mechanical projects within deadlines and budgets.
- Problem-solving mindset, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industry standards is an advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in working on IoT or robotics applications is a bonus.
