Role Description The Mechanical Engineer role at Govt. ITI Talcher is a full-time, on-site position located in Talcher.

The Mechanical

Engineer will support the design, evaluation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment used in training facilities and workshops. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing mechanical designs, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with internal teams on equipment requirements, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery. The role also involves contributing to process improvements, participating in research and development initiatives related to mechanical systems,



and providing technical guidance on best practices in mechanical engineering. Collaboration with academic and technical staff to align mechanical systems with instructional needs is a key part of the position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge and practical experience with mechanical systems and components.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design, including the ability to analyze, develop, and optimize mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating, modifying, and reviewing technical drawings and 3D models.
- Candidates should possess Project Management abilities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating mechanical engineering activities.
