Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
Job Overview The selected candidate will support mechanical design and drafting activities, including the development of machine components and assemblies, preparation of manufacturing drawings and BOMs, design modifications, and coordination with production and other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models of machine components and assemblies.
- Use SolidWorks for mechanical design and drafting activities.
- Assist senior design engineers with component detailing and design documentation.
- Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for machine assemblies.
- Support reverse engineering and modification of existing machine components and assemblies.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, and other departments to resolve design-related requirements.
- Prepare machine-related instruction and maintenance documentation.
- Release drawings to the relevant departments as per approved requirements.
- Maintain accurate design records and engineering documentation.
- Support continuous improvement and modification of existing machine designs.
Requirements
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design or a related role.
- Practical experience using SolidWorks for 3D modelling and mechanical drafting.
- Understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of BOM preparation and engineering documentation.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office.
- Positive communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates with exposure to machine design, industrial machinery, automation, or packaging machinery will be considered relevant.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
