Job Title: Senior Tech Lead Mechanical Engineering (Semiconductor Domain)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Senior Tech Lead with a robust background in Sheet Metal Design, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Value
Engineering, and Team Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers in the design and development of
semiconductor equipment components.
- Drive Sheet Metal Design projects from concept through production, ensuring
manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Apply DFMA/ DFX principles to optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency and
quality.
- Implement Value Engineering and Value Addition techniques to enhance product
performance and reduce costs.
- Review and enforce Drawing standards, GD&T;, and documentation best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, thermal, and systems engineering teams.
- Customer Interface, requirement gathering,
status update till delivery.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet business goals.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis for design issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 3 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the semiconductor domain,
Ion Implanter experience.
- Thorough knowledge in Manufacturing processes, heat treatment, Materials
- Proven expertise in Sheet Metal Design, DFX, and Value Engineering.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical drawing standards, GD&T;, PLM & CAD tools (Creo
Windchill)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
