We are seeking a Design Engineer to design and develop mechanical components such as sheet metal enclosures, structural frames, bus bar arrangements, for switchgears in Autodesk Inventor

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical components such as sheet metal enclosures, structural frames, bus bar arrangement, insulation support and electrical component assemblies for electrical MV and LV switchgears
- 3D drafting for mechanical parts and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor
- Build up and maintain a common parts library
- Interpret engineering specifications and produce compliant drawings
- Perform reverse engineering drawings
- Co-ordinate with production floor for design related issues
- Perform heat dissipation calculations,



thermal and structural analysis
- Generate Manufacturing dimension

Qualifications:

- 4-6 year minimum experience
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Valuable engineering and technical knowledge
- Proficient in CAD tools: Autodesk Inventor
- Experience of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Knowledge in Electrical MV and LV Switchgear design
- Experience in new product development and R&D;

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
