Role Description

This is a full-time, in office role based in Kolkata for a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in LV / MV Panel Switchgear Panels, focusing primarily on sheet metal work. The role involves creating mechanical designs for LV /MV panels, developing product concepts, performing detailed machine and product designs,



and utilizing CAD software for modeling and drawings.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will also ensure compliance with IEC standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design
- Must have prior experience in Sheet Metal work mainly Panel Manufacturing Industry .
- Proficiency in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D and 3D modeling, like AutoCAD, Inventor, Solids work.
- Knowledge of IEC standards and practices in switchgear and panel design
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Prior experience in switchgear or sheet-metal work is an advantage

Experience : At least 3-5 years experience in this particular fields .
