Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on the Layout Engineering, Conveyor Engineering and Drawings, full cycle of equipment design, including concept development, detailed mechanical design, and validation of components and assemblies. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing 2D and 3D CAD models, preparing engineering drawings, performing basic calculations and design analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine product specifications.

The role involves close coordination with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and compliant with safety and performance standards.



The engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to innovative design solutions for equipment used in Steel, Cement, Power, Sugar, and Glass industries. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Machine Design for industrial equipment and mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including understanding of materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
- Candidates should possess competencies in Product Design, focusing on functionality, reliability, and ease of manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in designing equipment or components for heavy industries such as Steel, Cement, Power, Sugar, or Glass is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, and apply relevant codes and safety guidelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
