WE’RE HIRING | MDF ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced MDF Engineer to join our R&D; / Production team in Chennai.

Position: MDF Engineer

Experience: 2–5 Years

Location: Chennai

Department: R&D; / Production

Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Wood Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and optimize MDF formulations and manufacturing processes
- Monitor raw materials, resin, fiber quality, and production parameters
- Conduct MDF testing for strength, density, moisture, water resistance, and durability
- Troubleshoot production and quality-related issues
- Develop new MDF products based on market and customer requirements
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and R&D; teams
- Maintain product specifications, test reports, and technical documentation
- Drive process improvements to enhance quality and reduce production costs
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and specifications





Required Skills:

- Solid knowledge of MDF manufacturing and wood-based panels
- Good understanding of resins, wood fibers, pressing, and finishing processes
- Experience in MDF/product testing and quality evaluation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret test results and identify product/process issues
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Candidates with hands-on experience in MDF manufacturing, product development, R&D;, quality testing, resin/fiber technology, or wood-based panel production will be preferred.
